Find out what marriage law the Judge in California overturned and why? Posted 08-09-2010 In this California case they claimed thier 14th amendment rights were violated by the proposition 8 ban. They pushed the issue and the judge ruled. The case is projected to land in the supreme court and the new law will not go into effect right away, but the Judge ruled never-the-less.
